1. General Policy
At Shining Riva, customer satisfaction is our priority. We carefully inspect every product before dispatch to ensure you receive the best quality items.
As our products are fashion jewellery and personal accessories, we only accept returns or exchanges under specific conditions mentioned below.
2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange
You may request a return or exchange if:
- You received a damaged product.
- You received the wrong item.
- The product has a manufacturing defect.
- The item is missing from the order.
To be eligible:
- The request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
- The product must be unused, unworn, and in original condition.
- Original packaging, tags, invoice, and accessories must be included.
- An unboxing video and clear product images are mandatory for verification.
3. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Products used or worn after delivery.
- Minor color or design variations due to lighting or photography.
- Customized or personalized jewellery.
- Products purchased during sale, clearance, or promotional offers.
- Requests made after 48 hours of delivery.
- Damage caused by improper handling, water exposure, perfume, chemicals, or misuse.
4. Exchange Process
If your exchange request is approved:
- Our team will review your request.
- Pickup may be arranged depending on service availability.
- Once the product passes quality inspection, a replacement product will be shipped.
- If the same product is unavailable, store credit or an alternate product may be offered.
Exchange processing time may take 5–10 business days after approval.
5. Return & Refund Policy
Refunds are only applicable in the following situations:
- Wrong product delivered.
- Damaged product received.
- Product unavailable for replacement.
Refund Process:
- After product inspection and approval, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- Refunds may take 5–7 business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank/payment provider.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was from our side.
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be refunded via bank transfer or UPI.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Product
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Order ID
- Product photos
- Package images
- Unboxing video
Without an unboxing video, claims may not be accepted.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.
- Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.
- Refund for cancelled prepaid orders will be processed within 5–7 business days.
8. Shipping Charges
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Customers may need to bear return shipping charges in certain exchange cases.
- Free replacement shipping will be provided only for approved damaged or incorrect products.
9. Jewellery Care Guidelines
To maintain product quality and shine:
- Keep jewellery away from water, perfume, and chemicals.
- Store in a dry and airtight box.
- Avoid direct sunlight and moisture.
- Clean gently with a soft cloth.
Improper care may reduce product life and will not qualify for return or exchange.
